Description
We didn’t realize just how lackluster store-bought eggs were until we started raising our chickens. One day during a streak of really cold weeks when the hens don’t lay eggs, or if they do, they all freeze before we can get to them, we bought some from Costco. We were surprised to realize that the entire flat tasted like it had been watered down compared to what we were used to.
Never again – we’ll go without eggs, or buy from other local farmers before we buy from a store again.
